Ioana is a Digital Interaction student at University of Dundee who, very much like me, has moved away from the safety of home to explore the possibilities of a new country/language/life.
Her main reason for leaving Romania is the fact that she was disappointed with the way the education system was working in her home country. But she also felt that moving to a bigger town than the one she was used to would be an improvement.
A substantial part of her inspiration as an designer/artist comes from her fathers paintings, but also from photographers such as Denis Olivier.
Ioana’s preferred way of expression is visual rather than textual, hence the interest in photography and design.
